You may well now be seeing the first 'true' leaves growing, they have more texture and are more pointy than the first leaves. It will soon be time to pot your pumpkin on into a bigger pot. The white roots are just showing through the base of the pot on our pumpkin plants here (see pic), which is another sign that the potting on time is nearly upon us. I am going to wait until the second leaf is a bit bigger before I pot on.
